2020 — THE FOUNDATION
Reformed Hair is born
After years of experience in hair, I officially founded Reformed Hair in 2020, turning my passion and expertise into a professional business.
2022 — THE BREAKTHROUGH
From Reformed Hair to the industry
A defining year that saw me step further into the professional and entertainment space, working across projects including BET Awards and Glastonbury.
2023–2024 — THE EXPANSION
Campaigns, productions & major events
My work continued to grow across beauty, fashion, music and entertainment, with opportunities including BREAD, Burberry, Wonderbra, YouTube, Wireless Festival and the Brit Awards.
2024 — COMMUNITY & EDUCATION
Glowing Crowns Club begins
Alongside my professional hair career, I founded Glowing Crowns Club — creating spaces for young people to build confidence, community and a positive relationship with their hair. I also began delivering hair, confidence and self-esteem sessions in schools.
2025 — AUTHOR & STORYTELLER
The launch of Alina’s Glowing Afro
I expanded my work beyond the salon and set to the page with the launch of my first children’s book, Alina’s Glowing Afro — a story inspired by Black hair, identity, faith and learning to recognise the light within.
2026 — A NEW CHAPTER
Luxury hair, publishing & youth empowerment
A year of continued growth across multiple areas of my work — from campaigns and London Fashion Week to Range Rover, alongside the launch of my second book, Kiran’s Glowing Afro.
I also continued developing Glowing Crowns Club, including a dedicated youth experience in collaboration with Cantu, bringing together hair education, confidence and community.
